The translation means "Malachite box" after the beautiful light to olive green mineral found in the Ural mountains in Russia. This light green colored flesh has an amazing flavor and meaty consistency. Plants were very productive for us and yeilds were high. Nice size heirloom tomato. This indeterminate variety is drought tolerant due to its deep roots. These beauties are lime to neon/yellow/green. 2019 was our first crop and we LOVED them. We will keep these on our planting plan for sure.
